The Premier League is back! Who are the bookies’ favorites to lift the trophy in 2019?

Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-Min has said he is relishing the prospect of facing his South Korea captain Ki Sung-Yueng at Newcastle on Saturday.

Ki joined Newcastle from Swansea on a free transfer after captaining South Korea in Russia.

“He did very well at the World Cup,” Son said ahead of Spurs’ opening fixture at St James’ Park. “He was very excited to move to Newcastle, and I’m looking forward to playing against him.

“He can bring a lot of things because he’s a very good player. He can change the side, shoot, make a good pass. He doesn’t lose a lot of balls. He’s a very good signing for them and it’s a very good move for him as well.

“He’ll be able to play more football than he did at Swansea. I think he’s already enjoying Newcastle with his family and is very happy.”

Son, who will head to the Asian Games in Indonesia after Saturday’s match, signed a new five-year Spurs contract this summer.

“It’s still a dream for me to play in the Premier League and I have really enjoyed every moment, every single day with my guys, my teammates and coaching staff at Tottenham,” he said.

“I am really thankful to Tottenham because they gave me this new contract. It didn’t take too many things to sign it because they were making my dream come true.

“There is nothing more to say other than, for me, Tottenham is my home. It feels like home and I feel very comfortable here.

Son could start up front on Saturday if Harry Kane is not judged to be ready after his World Cup exploits, and the 26-year-old said: “It doesn’t matter where I play, which position.

“Whether I play left-back, centre-back, I don’t know, the gaffer chooses and the most important thing is I give my best.”
