Manchester City forward Thierry Ambrose is heading to French club RC Lens on loan for the season, Foot365 journalist Patrick Juillard reports.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at NAC Breda in the Netherlands, contributing an impressive 10 goals and 4 assists in 30 Eredivisie appearance.
He has been subject to interest from Ligue 1 clubs such as Nice and Bordeaux, but if this information proves to be true, he will be playing in Ligue 2, France’s second tier next season.
Lens are coached by Philippe Montanier, a highly regarded manager who in recent years has been in charge of Real Sociedad and Nottingham Forest, and he has a good track record with youth, having also coached the France under-20 national team.
