Manchester United announce new sleeve sponsorship deal with Kohler

Thibaut Courtois believes Marouane Fellaini is a useful player for both Belgium and Manchester United, after he signed a new two-year deal at Old Trafford.

In an exclusive interview with ESPN FC, Ryan Giggs recounts his Man United memories and reveals what the current squad can learn from his success.

Manchester United have announced a deal with Kohler to become the club’s first-ever shirt sleeve sponsor.

United were one of the few Premier League clubs who did not take advantage of a rule change allowing for an additional logo on sleeves last season.

But, after agreeing a long-term deal with the U.S.-based lifestyle brand, they will have a second sponsor — to go with car manufacturer Chevrolet — on their shirt when the new kit is unveiled next week.

It will be worn for the first time in United’s tour of the United States, with the first friendly of the summer against Club America in Phoenix on July 19.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Kohler to the Manchester United family as a principal partner and our first shirt sleeve sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams,” United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold said in a statement. “Our shirt is much more than what we wear, it embodies the passion of our fans and their allegiance to the club.

“Kohler is known around the world not only for its cutting-edge design and luxury products but also a genuine commitment to stewardship and sustainability and is an exciting addition to our family of commercial partners.”
