Arsenal are reportedly still in active contact with OGC Nice star Jean Seri, following speculation linking them with a move for the player.
For several transfer windows, the Gunners have been touted as a potential destination for Seri, who looks all but set to leave Nice this summer.
Arsenal have been actively looking to bolster their midfield options ahead of next season, with Uruguay international Lucas Torreira set to join the club from Sampdoria. Talks are also reportedly ongoing over a deal for Sevilla star Steven N’Zonzi.
However, according to claims from Nabil Djellit, a France Football journalist, Arsenal and Chelsea remain keen to recruit Seri from Nice as the race for his signature heats up.

Fulham and West Ham have also been heavily linked with the player and according to Djellit, the Ivory Coast international is currently situated in London as efforts are made to secure a summer move to the Premier League.
