Agim Ademi has been elected as the new president of the Kosovo Football Federation (KFF).
The 56-year-old was elected unanimously for a four-year term of office at the KFF’s extraordinary assembly. He succeeds Fadil Vokrri, legendary former Kosovo footballer, who passed away last month.
“I will remain on the same course as our former president,” Ademi told delegates after his election. “I will work with each and every one of you, and I will commit myself to hard work. I am confident that we will succeed together.”
A minute’s applause took place to honour Fadil Vokrri. The former Yugoslavia striker was an instrumental figure in Kosovo’s football development, which led to the Football Federation of Kosovo becoming a member of UEFA in 2016.
