Ahmed Musa to Huddersfield
Leicester City’s Musa starred at the World Cup for Nigeria and he may have a new club in England for the start of the new Premier League season with Huddersfield Town. According to the Daily Mirror, the Foxes are ready to cash in on the man who has scored just six goals for the club — including one for their under-21 side — and Huddersfield are interested. However, Musa is also a Fulham target, with Slavisa Jokanovic looking to bolster his frontline back in the Premier League. The 25-year-old spent part of last season on loan back at former club CSKA Moscow.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Barcelona
The Serbian is attracting interest from a host of top clubs around Europe, with Lazio facing a battle to keep his services. The Italian side want more than £100 million for the attacking midfielder, who is a Manchester United target. However, The Sun say Milinkovic-Savic is subject of Barcelona transfer interest and the Catalan giants are willing to pay £120m for the 23-year-old and even offer midfielder Rafinha as part of a deal.
Kasper Schmeichel to Chelsea
Leicester and Denmark’s keeper has emerged as a target for Chelsea, according to Sky Sports. Schmeichel featured at the World Cup in Russia and is attracting interest from the London club, but they face competition in Serie A, with the 31-year-old also a Roma target. Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Roma’s Alisson have been linked with moves away this summer, so both clubs are weighing up their goalkeeper options.
Daniel Sturridge to Besiktas
The Liverpool striker spent time on loan at West Brom last season and will be looking for a fresh start following a number of injury problems. That could be away from England, with the Daily Star suggesting Sturridge is a £10m target for Besiktas. They claim Sturridge’s value is closer to £15m and that may prove to be a stumbling block.Besiktas, keen on a loan deal initially, would be open to a permanent move if the valuation is lowered.
Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea
Higuain could be part of a swap deal with Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata, say La Gazetta dello Sport. The forward is valued between €60-70m by Juventus, while Morata would return to his former club in Serie A. The Italian newspaper say Chelsea have not made official contact yet over Higuain but that an intermediary is attempting to begin negotiations. Higuain, 30, scored 23 goals in all competitions last season for Juventus, while Morata scored 15.
