Help is on the way for the Sounders’ meek attack in the form of Peru striker Raul Ruidiaz, who says the idea to play in the Emerald City originated when he played a Copa America match at CenturyLink Field in 2016. Atlanta United school slumping Lions

Miguel Almiron scored twice as Atlanta United went five points clear atop the Supporters’ Shield standings with a 4-0 decision that doomed Orlando City to their eighth straight defeat. West race tightens at the top

Don’t look now, but Montreal have posted three straight shutout wins following Saturday’s 2-0 blanking of West leaders Sporting KC. The Impact frustrated their visitors, who waved goodbye to a seven-game unbeaten run. RECAP

On Friday, FC Dallas moved toward the top with a 1-0 victory at Minnesota United. Thanks to Roland Lamah’s 59th-minute goal, FCD won for the fifth time in their last six games. RECAP
