Watford have signed defender Marc Navarro from Spanish side Espanyol on a five-year contract, the Premier League club said on Friday.
The 22-year-old, who progressed through the youth system at Barcelona, made his senior debut with Espanyol in 2017 and made 24 appearances for the La Liga side last season.
“Marc has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs, therefore we are delighted to have secured his services,” Watford’s chief executive Scott Duxbury told the club’s website.
The Spaniard is Watford manager Javi Gracia’s third signing of the close season after Gerard Deulofeu’s permanent move from Barcelona and Ben Wilmot’s arrival from English fourth-tier side Stevenage.
