Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has said he expects to have Wilfried Zaha in his squad for next season.
Former Manchester United winger Zaha played a major role in keeping Palace in the Premier League, with his fine form leading to speculation about his future.
But Hodgson told a news conference: “This is where he belongs. This is his club. He knows how much we and the fans value him.
“I don’t blame other clubs for coveting him. He is ours and I still believe he will be when the season begins.”
Earlier this week, Zaha was named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for April.
The Ivory Coast international scored four goals — including a brace in the 3-2 win over rivals Brighton — and registered an assist as Palace went unbeaten with two wins and two draws.
“I’m just happy that the performances are coming together and people are actually seeing for themselves that I’ve put in the hard work,” he said.
