Wayne Rooney to D.C. United

Rooney has a year left on his contract at Everton but is in “serious talks” over a move to MLS. According to the Washington Post, discussions between D.C United and Rooney’s representatives have accelerated in recent weeks with the club ruled to have a “50 per cent chance” of signing him during MLS’ transfer and trade window, which opens on July 10. The 32-year-old has scored 10 goals for Everton this season but hasn’t found the net since Dec. 18 and has grown frustrated with life at Goodison Park as his role becomes increasingly peripheral.

Christian Pulisic to Manchester United

Manchester United will use Anthony Martial as part of their attempts to prise American international winger Pulisic away from Borussia Dortmund. The Mirror claim United manager Jose Mourinho has lost patience with the inconsistent Frenchman and the club will propose a swap deal with Pulisic who, at 19, is three years younger. The USA star is also wanted by Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Yaya Toure to Wolves

Newly promoted Wolves have given Toure an opportunity to stay in the Premier League. The Ivorian is set to leave Manchester City as a free agent after eight years with the club but wants to remain in England as he considers his children English and Manchester their home town. The Mirror claim the veteran midfielder also has interest from Burnley and Everton and offers from across Europe, but is determined to keep playing in the Premier League despite reservations over potentially facing City.

Nabil Fekir to Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp has laid on the charm in a bid to convince Fekir to choose Liverpool over Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal. According to Canal+, Klopp personally met the France international to persuade him that Anfield was his best destination. Liverpool have reportedly agreed a £62m fee and five-year contract with the 24-year-old forward, but they were denied by Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas.

William Carvalho to Everton

Sporting have told Everton they want at least £26m for the Portuguese international midfielder after Toffees boss Sam Allardyce sent scouts to watch him over the weekend. Carvalho, 26, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League with West Ham stating they pulled out of a deal last summer.
