Leganes vs. Levante – Football Match Report – May 7, 2018

Levante put in a powerful second-half performance to see off 10-man Leganes 3-0 for a fourth straight LaLiga win at Butarque on Monday night.
The home side had the better of the first-half chances but Claudio Beauvue headed wide in the early exchanges before Javier Eraso’s long-range effort was blocked and Nabil El Zhar fired off target.
Nordin Amrabat almost broke the deadlock midway through the first half but goalkeeper Oier did well to tip the Morocco midfielder’s effort over the crossbar in the best chance for either side before the break.
Levante came out fighting in the second half and top scorer Jose Luis Morales netted his third goal in as many games after 55 minutes. Three minutes later, Leganes lost Joseba Zaldua to a straight red card for a foul on the goalscorer.
The visitors used the man advantage in their favour as Enis Bardhi slotted his free-kick into the bottom corner just before the hour mark and Coke added a third as he tapped home from the right of the six-yard box with 12 minutes remaining.
