Christian Eriksen to Paris Saint-Germain
Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen will be PSG primary transfer target this summer, if Thomas Tuchel takes over at Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Daily Express. The Denmark international has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists this season but will once again finish the campaign without any silverware to his name. The Parisian club could offer exactly that as well as the ambitious challenge of trying to win the Champions League.
Paulo Dybala to Bayern Munich
German giants Bayern Munich have assembled a contingency plan in case Robert Lewandowski is able to push through a move to Real Madrid. According to Bild, the Bavarian giants have sounded out Juventus star Paulo Dyabla and believe they can convince him to leave Italy for a club-record fee of £88 million this summer.
Gareth Barry to Aston Villa
The 37-year-old is expected to leave West Bromwich Albion this summer thanks to a release clause if the club are relegated, even though he is contracted for another 12 months. And if and when the Baggies’ drop into the Championship is confirmed Aston Villa will launch a move to bring Barry back to Villa Park, according to the Mirror. The midfielder made his professional debut with the Villans and made over 400 appearances for the club before leaving in 2009.
Eric Bailly to Chelsea
With the Ivorian recently dropped from the Manchester United matchday squad by Jose Mourinho, Chelsea are considering launching a summer move for the defender. However, Mourinho says Bailly’s is being left out because he is the only one of United’s five centre-backs not going to the World Cup: “When I look to the other four central defenders fighting for a position in the World Cup, I’m giving less [time] to Eric.”
Joe Hart to Sevilla
Joe Hart’s future has taken another twist with Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo claiming Sevilla are lining up a summer move for the England international. Hart is currently on loan at West Ham United from Manchester City but hasn’t managed to nail down a first-team spot at the London Stadium. The 31-year old has a contract with the Premier League champions until 2019 but has no future at the club under Pep Guardiola.
