BRAZILIAN star Neymar could be on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain after just one season with the French giants.
PSG paid Barcelona a world record fee of £198million for the forward, but according to reports chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi travelled to visit the 26-year-old in Brazil to try and convince him to stay.
It is unclear how successful the trip was, though, as the PSG hierarchy remain uncertain if they will be able to keep hold of Neymar.
Marca’s front page carried the headline “PSG are suspicious of Neymar” and “Madrid pending on events.”
The former Barcelona man is currently back in his homeland as he recovers from a fractured metatarsal sustained at the end of February and faces a race against time to be fit for the World Cup.
Reports of discontent and injuries have dogged his first season at the Parisian club, in which he has scored 28 goals in 30 matches.
Despite the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer, a power struggle between the former and Edison Cavani emerged earlier in the season over penalty-taking duties.
He missed PSG’s 7-1 thrashing of Monaco and subsequent celebrations last weekend as they sealed the Ligue 1 title.

And manager Unai Emery recently conceded he has not spoken to the star “in two or three weeks” suggesting an exit was likely.
Real Madrid are thought to be interested in signing the forward despite his previous stint at rivals Barcelona, where things turned sour upon his departure in 2017.
Spanish media are reporting a source at PSG has said: “The only thing left for Neymar to do is communicate that he wants to leave.”
