NEYMAR tried to brighten up his mood following surgery on his foot to catch up with some friends back in Brazil.
The PSG star shared a photo of him on Instagram alongside ex-Golden State basketball player Leandro Barbosa, Brazilian TV host Luciano Huck and actor Rafael Zulu.
The world’s most expensive footballer was sitting in a wheelchair, with his foot outstretched in a protective boot.
And despite facing at least six weeks out of the game, the Brazilian shared a glimpse of a smile from the wheelchair.
The 26-year-old fractured his foot during PSG’s 3-0 defeat of Marseille in Ligue 1 on February 25.
The PSG forward checked into the Mater Dei hospital in Belo Horizonte for the procedure on Saturday.
In an official club statement, PSG confirmed: “The operation led by Dr. Rodrigo Lasmar went perfectly well.
“Rehabilitation will begin immediately after the operation under the supervision of the physiotherapist of the club.

“A report will be made in six weeks to clarify when he will return to training.”
Prior to the operation, Dr Lasmar said: “Neymar suffered a fracture to the fifth metatarsal, it is an important fracture in a foot bone.

“Neymar is sad, but understands that he has no alternative now.
‘He will devote himself to being well as soon as possible. We will do our best to get him ready as soon as possible.”
The Brazilian football federation have also revealed the success of the procedure.
They stated: “The operation is over, Neymar is already in his room. It went well.”
Neymar has scored 28 goals in 30 appearances for PSG in all competitions since signing from Barcelona for a world-record fee last year.
He now faces a race against time to be fit for Brazil in the World Cup.
