According to French news outlet Le10Sport, Mourinho has already begun early negotiations to lure the 25-year-old to the Premier League.

They claim that the Portuguese manager has let Sidibe know of his desire to nab him.

While they also state that the French international – who can operate down either flank – is keen on a move to Old Trafford.

And he could be joined by his Monaco team-mate Fabinho at the Theatre of Dreams, with the central midfielder attempting to force through a move in the summer.

Questions marks still remain over left-back Luke Shaw, while Matteo Darmian looks destined to leave after falling down the pecking order under the Special One.

And with Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia both soon to turn 33, Mourinho is looking to inject some youth into his side.
