PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have narrowed their search to a new manager to just three candidates, according to various reports.
Unai Emery is certain to leave at the end of the season following a second successive elimination in the last-16 of the Champions League.
And Mundo Deportivo insist Diego Simeone, Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane make up the Ligue 1 giants’ shortlist of candidates.
This comes on the back of RMC‘S revelation that PSG’s new manager would not be Italian, is currently managing a club and has a release clause installed.
That would rule out several people which had been perceived as frontrunners.
Antonio Conte, Roberto Mancini and Massimiliano Allegri are Italian, Thomas Tuchel and Luis Enrique are currently unemployed — and Carlo Ancelotti is both.
However, all three candidates on their shortlist will be extremely difficult to tempt.
Pochettino, who spent a large part of his playing career at PSG, appears in the middle of a long-term project at Tottenham, and would likely be extremely expensive to prise away.

Zidane is a self-proclaimed Marseille fan and has stated publicly is unwilling to manage their fiercest rivals — while Simeone is understood to be making plans for next season with Atletico Madrid.
Report suggest he has met with Paulo Dybala as he looks for a replacement for Barcelona-bound Antoine Griezmann.
