With Cristiano Ronaldo experiencing his worst UEFA Champions League campaign in 13 seasons, he has now commented on his poor start to the 2018/19 tournament.

The Juventus superstar finished as that top goalscorer of the competition in the previous six seasons, but scored only one goal in the 2018/19 group stage.
However, Ronaldo has insisted he remains “calm” ahead of the knockout stages of the competition.
“Now the beautiful part of the Champions League starts and I’m confident we will be fully ready for it,” the forward said, as quoted by the Daily Express.
“I’m calm because I know the potential of this team and my potential.
“I could have scored a couple of goals easily but this is football, we just have to start to focus on the next game.”

The Champions League last 16 draw will take place on Monday, 17 December, and Juventus will face one of Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Schalke, Ajax Amsterdam, Olympique Lyon, or Manchester United.
