Memphis Depay netted a brace to inspire Olympique Lyon to victory at Guingamp in Saturday’s Ligue 1 action.

Guingamp 2-4 Olympique Lyon

Lyon trounced Guingamp 4-2 away from home to go keep their place among the top-four alive this early on in the campaign.

It was a strong start with Marcus Thuram handing the host the lead followed by a second later in the game as a mere consolation.

But Houssem Aouar drew level followed by a brace from Memphis Depay and a late strike from Maxwel Cornet handed the visitors the triumph.

Angers 1-0 Montpellier

Angers returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory at the Stade Jean-Bouin over Montpellier thanks to a second half conversion by fullback Romain Thomas.

The win sees them crop up into 12th position, while Montpellier remain in third despite the set-back only a point behind Lyon in fourth.

Nimes 0-1 OGC Nice

OGC Nice secured a 1-0 victory over a 10-men Nimes courtesy of a second half finish from Youcef Attal at the Stade des Costieres.

A 61st minute effort from Attal was enough to give Patrick Vieira’s charges the all important victory that moves them up to sixth position.

Toulouse 0-1 Amiens SC

A goal from Alexis Blin early in the first half led Amiens to a 1-0 victory over Toulouse to boost their survival aspirations.

The result also sees go within just a point behind Toulouse in 14th spot and ahead of Angers who also scraped a 1-0 victory over Montpellier.
