Paris Saint-Germain maintained their perfect start to the Ligue 1 season as they came from behind to beat Reims 4-1 at the Parc des Princes.

The visitors gave the champions an early scare when Xavier Chavalerin scored after only two minutes but two goals from Edinson Cavani either side of a Neymar penalty saw PSG assume control heading into half-time.

Substitute Thomas Meunier scored early in the second half to rubber-stamp a seventh straight domestic triumph for Thomas Tuchel’s team.

Lyon are up to second in the table after a 3-0 win at Dijon. All the goals came in the first half with Moussa Dembele scoring twice and Martin Terrier heading in the third.

Lucas Tousart was sent off after 66 minutes but both teams finished the match with 10 men after Enzo Loiodice also saw red for the hosts in stoppage time.

Marseille bounced back from their weekend defeat at Lyon to beat Strasbourg 3-2 in a dramatic finish at the Stade Velodrome.

Kenny Lala put the visitors ahead just before the half-hour mark but a Dimitri Payet penalty and a strike from Morgan Sanson quickly turned the game on its head as half-time approached.

Marseille played the majority of the second half with 10 men after Jordan Amavi was sent off after 52 minutes and it looked like Strasbourg would go home with a point when Nuno da Costa equalised in the final minute. However, Valere Germain struck in stoppage time for the hosts.

Lille are level on 13 points with both Lyon and Marseille despite a 1-0 defeat at Bordeaux, who struck after seven minutes through Francois Kamano. Lille had Adama Soumaoro sent off late on.

Amiens climbed put of the relegation places with a 2-1 home win against Rennes. Eddy Gnahore put the hosts ahead and Prince Gouano quickly doubled the lead after the visitors had Jeremy Gelin sent off. Clement Grenier pulled a goal back late on but it was not enough.

Montpellier had Hilton dismissed on an evening of red cards in Ligue 1 but still managed a 2-2 draw at Caen.

Elsewhere, Nimes and Guingamp shared the points from a goalless draw.
