Jose Mourinho suffers embarrassing fall at Wembley while watching England against Spain

ESPN FC’s Steve Nicol believes Marcus Rashford isn’t progressing at Manchester United and needs to move on to further his career.

Mark Ogden explains why Jose Mourinho’s job at Manchester United is likely secure despite a sense of chaos at Old Trafford in recent weeks.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho just cannot stay out of the news right now. The international break looked to come at the perfect time for the embattled Portuguese boss, who probably needed a week out of the limelight and the English papers more than anyone in English football. But as they say “the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”

Mourinho was on hand to watch England vs. Spain and while the international break usually provides a bit of a respite for club managers and players, Mourinho was awarded no such luxury thanks to a few fateful steps at Wembley.

Mourinho getting caught on the rope and falling was not only embarrassing but quickly went viral as a GIF. In the end, the Portuguese boss seemed to laugh the incident off, which is refreshing to see given he’s not had much to smile about lately.

Mourinho really just can’t seem to catch a break right now.
