Barcelona midfielder Pedri can see Rafa Marquez taking charge of the senior team.
The Mexican great is currently in charge of Barca Atletic.
Pedri told TNT Mexico: “He was an incredible player and now as a coach he is doing very well.
“I hope he is a valid candidate if Xavi were to leave. I’m sorry, I would have liked him to continue; it’s a shame because he is a great coach and also a friend.
“I wish Rafa all the luck in the world, I hope he can be Barça’s coach.”
