Barcelona ace Lewandowski pulled up Fati after Man Utd defeat: Kid, what are you doing?!

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandoski held talks with Ansu Fati after their Europa League defeat at Manchester United.

Lewandowski was angry after Fati denied him a late chance to equalise by taking a header away from him after Ferran Torres‘ cross.

Worst of all, this was not the first time Fati had interfered with Lewandowski’s play. Fati also snatched a goal chance from Lewandowski in the match against Betis at the Benito Villamarín on February 1, although that incident went more unnoticed, since the Blaugrana came out of the game with the three points (1-2).

At the end of the match a very angry Lewandowski could be seen. First he went to Torres, to explain with visible gestures that he was in an unbeatable position to finish the play, but that Fati ended up being the one who connected incorrectly. He also went to Jordi Alba, one of the captains, to express his bewilderment at this new action by Fati.

AS is reporting in the locker room the Pole reproached Ansu. With good manners and without acrimony, Lewandowski made him see that it is the second time that he has snatched a very clear goal from him inside the area, He urged him to be more attentive in this type of action and to reassess his desire to score at all costs, because it can end up hurting the team, as did on this occasion.

Fati excused himself, assuring that he had not seen him and that he believed that he was in a better position to finish off the goal, although he acknowledged that his effort was quite poor.
