Manchester United have put together a backup list of midfield names if they fail to land Barcelona ace Frenkie de Jong.
United and Barca are in advanced talks over a deal for De Jong, though the player is hesitant.
As such, talkSPORT says United have put together a ‘back-up list’ of alternatives after two months of negotiations over De Jong.
The list is said to include Wolves star Ruben Neves, who has been linked with United for some time, and Leicester’s Youri Tielemans.
United have already agreed a deal with free agent Christian Eriksen as a more attacking midfield option, while Tyrell Malacia is their lone acquisition at full back.
