Franck Kessie has decided to leave AC Milan at the end of the season.
Off contract in June, the Ivory Coast midfielder has rejected Milan’s proposal to renew.
Il Corriere dello Sport says the Rossoneri offered €5m-a-year, rising until reaching €6.5m-a-year in the fourth and fifth year of the contract.
But now there will be a new meeting between his agent and Barcelona, currently the club closest to the Ivorian.
Barcelona have pushed themselves up to €6.5m-a-year plus bonuses for five years, but the agent’s request for Kessie is around €8m-a-year, plus a big signing-on fee.
