Monchu happy to play for Moreno at Granada after Barcelona departure

Former Barcelona midfielder Monchu is delighted with his move to Granada.

Monchu was presented to the local media today and admits the presence of former Barca assistant coach Robert Moreno – now in charge of Granada – was a major influence on his decision.

He said, “They told me about the project that there was and I did not hesitate to come here. Granada has an ambitious project, it has been doing things very well for years. It coincides with my personal project to continue growing.”

Moreno also stated:“I have known him since childhood. It fits very well with the person we are looking for to fit in Granada. He will bring commitment and ambition. He is in an age of growth and he is sure to give many joys.”
