Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman remains hopeful of signing Lyon striker Memphis Depay.
Blocked by Lyon from signing Memphis over the summer, then by Barca’s interim board in January, Koeman hopes to land the striker in a Bosman deal in June.
Esport3’s Oriol Domènech reports Koeman spoke with Depay earlier this week about his situation.
The Dutchman requested that his countryman not consider any pre-contract offers until he’s heard from Barca.
Koeman assured Depay he would do everything he could at his end to convince the new board to sign him this summer.
