West Ham closing on deal for Barcelona fullback Moussa Wague

West Ham United are closing on a deal for Barcelona fullback Moussa Wague.

A new right-back is on the transfer agenda after Pablo Zabaleta and Jeremy Ngakia walked away from the London Stadium when their contracts expired last month, says the Daily Express.

David Moyes‘ only option at right-back is Ryan Fredericks so competition will be needed.

Mundo Deportivo reports West Ham have identified Barcelona starlet Moussa Wague as a leading target.

It is claimed the Hammers have two options if they wish to sign Wague in the summer transfer window.

They can either take the 21-year-old on loan with a €16million (£14.5m) option to buy or they can seal a permanent deal for €10m (£9.1m) this summer.
