Manchester City are eager to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
The Premier League holders are hoping to go in for the Austrian star, who can play centre-half, left back and central midfield.
Sport suggests that Pep Guardiola’s side are eyeing Alaba to strengthen their back line, which has been a key issue this term.
Barcelona are also in for the 27-year-old, which could lead to a tug of war between the two super clubs.
Guardiola is worried about the reliability of John Stones, Nicholas Otamendi, Benjamin Mendy, and Aymeric Laporte.
In fact, Alaba is unlikely to be the only defender that City target this summer.
