In this series, we take a look at all the goals scored by the remaining 8 teams in the Champions League….
Last year’s finalists, Liverpool, are certainly shaping well in the UEFA Champions League, with the competition set to enter the quarter-final phase.
Jurgen Klopp’s men had a bit if tough time negotiating a group that consisted of PSG, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade. But the Reds managed to sneak through on the final day to the knockout stages where they took on Bayern Munich. The Bavarians were beaten 3-1 on aggregate as Liverpool kept their bid to reach the final for a second consecutive year alive.
Their forward line is a nightmare for any defence and they have scored 12 goals in the Champions League so far.
As expected, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are their topscorers (3 goals), with Roberto Firmino and James Milner (2 goals each) following.
Liverpool now gear up to face FC Porto in the quarter-final.
