United do not want to retain Greenwood and reintegrate him into the first team due to his previous arrest.
The 22-year-old impressed during a loan spell at Getafe in the Spanish La Liga, with many teams now interested in securing his signature.
Per The Sun, he wants to remain in Spain, where Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are interested.
There is also the possibility that he may move to Italy, with Napoli said to retain interest.
Borussia Dortmund in Germany have also inquired, but they may prefer a loan deal.
