Per Daily Star, United’s Mason Greenwood and Portuguese star Joao Felix are the two players involved in the deal.
United want to offload Greenwood, despite his impressive spell on loan at Getafe this season.
For their part, Atleti are interested in the forward, but do not want to pay a mega fee.
Swapping Felix would ensure that neither club has to commit to big money in this deal.
