Germany World Cup winning captain Lothar Matthaus says Hansi Flick will be an ideal appointment for Barcelona.
Flick is expected to be named new Barca coach in the coming days.
“Hansi’s style suits Barcelona,” Matthaus told BILD.
“With (Pep) Guardiola, Barcelona were spectacular and they played fantastic football.
“With Hansi, they can regain that magic.”
Xavi said farewell to Barca yesterday with victory over Sevilla in their season finale. It was announced on Friday that Xavi had been dismissed.
