Crystal Palace have opened talks with Real Betis for Chadi Riad.
Riad, 20, left Barcelona for Real Betis this summer.
The centre-back moved on loan with a compulsory purchase option – set at €3m.
However, Barcelona have secured a buy-back clause of €7m.
Sport says Barcelona plans to buy Riad back, then sell him on for around €15m.
However, Palace have now opened negotiations with Real Betis over Riad and are willing to pay £15m.
