The Uruguay international has attracted an approach from Bayern, though Barca have insisted they’re reluctant to do business.
However, TV3 says a possible transfer is very much alive.
Araújo’s representatives are now negotiating with Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich insist Barca’s €100m price is too rich and rather a €65-70m valuation is more realistic.
First, however, Bayern are trying to agree with Araújo on personal terms before starting negotiations with Barcelona.
