Barcelona striker Lewandowski: Flick a good person

Robert Lewandowski insists Barcelona still have time to turn around the season.

The Pole says they’re capable of giving the Champions League a good shake.

He said at a book function: “We are in the ideal moment to change, to play better. First in Vigo and then the Champions League arrives. We are working for it. It is difficult to explain what is happening, because we conceded three goals against Granada, for example.

“We have had a long week to work and, as I said, we are in the perfect moment to change.”

He also said: “Last year there were Busquets, Jordi Alba and Piqué. This year there is a mix of experience and youth and it shows.”

Asked about Hansi Flick succeeding Xavi at Barca, Lewandowski said of his former Bayern Munich coach: “Barça’s coach is Xavi. Flick? He’s a good person.”
