Lewandowski: I’m happy at Barcelona; I want Copa del Rey

Robert Lewandowski says he’s happily settled at Barcelona.

The Poland striker is now in his second season with the Blaugrana.

He said, after being presented with the e Renfe Trophy at the Mundo Deportivo Grand Gala, “I’m very happy. It’s all very nice and I’m really proud. The award is individual but what counts is the team, my people, my friends. We do everything together on the field and this is very important. If we all win, I win too.

“Everything that happened last year, with the Super Cup and LaLiga that we won… After four years, for Barcelona to become champions again was very important. This season is also very important and we know that we can do better. We are working well now but we need to string together some victories.

“The Copa del Rey is also very important for us and for me, it is the only trophy that I have not yet won in Spain. We have very young players and perhaps we needed a little bit of time, but now we are in a good moment and we will try to win. I want to score goals to make the fans happy.”
