Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen out THREE MONTHS

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has decided to undergo back surgery.

After consulting specialists, Ter Stegen has accepted the best option would be surgery on his troublesome injury. The pain is being caused by a herniated disc.

It will mean the Germany international will be missing for the next three months.

As such, Inaki Pena will remain between the posts as Ter Stegen recovers.

The matches Ter Stegen will miss will be Girona, Valencia and Almería in the Liga and Antwerp in the Champions League.
