Alonso ponders Barcelona future as interest arrives from across world

Marcos Alonso is ready to leave Barcelona in January.

The defender has been left frustrated by a lack of minutes so far this season.

Alonso has barely participated in 7 of the 17 matches this season, four of them as a starter (two in LaLiga and another two in the Champions League).

The former Chelsea stopper is being linked with Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

Also keen are Saudi trio Al-Hilal, Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad.

For his part, Alonso is convinced that he can be useful and may wait to see how the year ends before making a definitive decision. He is the only natural player as cover for Alejandro Balde.
