Barcelona have announced Gavi has suffered an ACL injury.
Gavi twisted his knee in action for Spain against Georgia yesterday.
After scans, Barca announced this morning the midfielder has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Barcelona specifically writes that Gavi has torn his cruciate ligament in his right knee, while the meniscus is also damaged.
An operation is now expected in the coming days for Gavi, after which the club will further update his condition.
