Barcelona will decide this month whether Vitor Roque will join them in January.
Signed last season before being loaned back to Athletico Paranaense, a decision over whether the striker will join Barca in January is yet to be settled.
Roque suffered an ankle injury earlier this season, though is now working his way back.
Sport says Barca management plan to make final decision on the player’s future by November 15.
Barca sports chief Deco has stated in recent weeks: “From the first minute it was clear with Atletico Paranaense, Vitor could arrive in January, which was one of the conditions of the agreement, so we will try. Let’s try and see what happens.”
