Tebas: Bribery charge for Barcelona president Laporta won’t come to anything

LaLiga president Javier Tebas doesn’t believe the bribery charge leveled at Barcelona‘s Joan Laporta will amount to anything.

Laporta has been charged by the judge investigating the Negreira case.

“It won’t amount to anything,” Tebas stated.

“The judge is following logic, but it won’t amount to nothing.”

Tebas added: “I am certain… I don’t control the timing, but this won’t be for nothing.”

Local judge Joaquín Aguirre has indicted Laporta in the investigation into the payment of €7.3m by Barcelona to the ex-vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA), José María Enríquez Negreira.
