Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has avoided serious injury.
There were concerns Gundogan had suffered a serious back injury after being forced off during Germany’s friendly win against France.
Medical tests have now confirmed that he only suffered a blow and is not ruled out for Saturday’s clash against Real Betis.
The news is a huge boost for Barca and Gundogan, who was visibly upset when leaving the pitch at the time.
