Andorra coach Eder Sarabia has jumped to the defence of Quique Setien after his sacking by Villarreal.
Sarabia was long Setien’s No2, including with Barcelona, before he took the Andorra job.
He posted to social media: “It seems you are a bad coach. You must have been very lucky to promote Racing de Santander to the Primera and Lugo to Segunda, to get Betis into Europe, do what you did with UD and coach Barcelona and Villarreal.
“At least you have what you made many people enjoy with your teams and that, as my father told me many years ago, you are the most loyal and honest person that I will find in this world of football.
“Thank-you Quique”.
