Barcelona coach Xavi has dismissed claims Ansu Fati could be sold to Real Madrid.
Fati is being linked with Real today, with coach Carlo Ancelotti talking up the youngster.
“He is a young player with enormous talent and he has a very bright future. That is all I will say,” said the Italian.
Barcelona coach Xavi was not so amused later in the day.
“Is it a joke or what? I was very clear about Ansu last week. He is a huge asset to the club now and in the future. I cannot be more clear,” he said.
“I don’t understand the debate that is being created around him. He is a Barça player and we count on him. He is in good form and we are happy with his performances. We hope we can stop talking about this now because there is no logic.”
