Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo could be heading for sunny Spain in the coming weeks.
The 29-year-old failed to earn a permanent deal at Bayern Munich after a second half of last season loan spell.
Per talkSPORT, given Cancelo’s situation at City, he is still seeking an exit from the club.
Barcelona have started talks with City about acquiring the experienced full-back.
Pep Guardiola‘s side do not want to send Cancelo out on loan again, as they would prefer a permanent sale.
The club can then use those funds to secure a replacement or go after other transfer targets.
