Barcelona are finalising a deal with Athletic Bilbao defender Inigo Martinez today.
After Monday’s announcement of Ilkay Gundogan‘s arrival from Manchester City, Barca are now working on Martinez’s deal.
Like Gundogan, Martinez is due to arrive in a Bosman transfer as his Athletic contract expires this week.
Sport says the Spain international is on track to be Barca’s second major arrival of the summer.
The 32-year-old from Bizkaia has declared he has played his last game for Athletic.
