Liverpool are interested in Boca Juniors midfielder Alan Varela.
Varela has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Sergi Busquets at Barcelona.
However, TyC Sports is reporting Liverpool are interested in the defensive midfielder.
Liverpool are closely monitoring Varela’s situation and are considering making a bid shortly.
Varela’s contract with Boca Juniors runs until December 2026. He is an U20 Argentina internatioanl.
