Barcelona are wrapping up a deal for Liverpool de Montevideo midfielder Fabricio Diaz.
Sport says Barca will pay €6m for the Uruguayan youngster.
Diaz will initially join Rafa Marquez’s Barca Atletic squad next season. He has rejected offers from Palmeiras and Flamengo, knowing Barca want to sign him.
At Barca, coaching staff believe the Uruguay U20 captain will be pushing for the first team sometime into next season.
Diaz will lead Uruguay at the U20 World Cup in Argentina.
