Barcelona are confident they can secure the signing of Manchester City‘s Ilkay Gundogan.
The German is out of contract in the summer at City and has not agreed a new deal.
Per The Times, the 32-year-old midfielder is likely to move on from the English champions.
The source adds that Barcelona are considering securing Gundogan, having already made him an initial offer of a two-year deal.
However, their financial issues have complicated matters, as they will have to resolve those problems with La Liga before they can register new players.
In addition, the player’s uncle and agent stated that his client is only focusing on City and the rest of this season at present.
