Barcelona have made a major step forward in clinching the signing of Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque.
Roque has expressed hopes of joining Barca, despite rival interest from Arsenal and Chelsea. However, there’s concerns the deal won’t happen due to Barca’s financial row with the LaLiga.
But Jijantes is reporting Roque’s father Juvenal Ferreira and Ehler Pessoa, agent Andre Cury’s partner, were seen at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper today. The pair were recorded leaving Barca’s training centre this morning.
Athletico Paranaense are insisting on €50m to sell Roque.
It’s suggested Ferreira and Pessoa were visiting Barca as part of a tour of interested clubs in Europe.
